Welcome
A little about ourselves
Currently there are two experienced people on the 2533B Auto Robots team. They have gone to the state and world competitions as a rookie team. In the qualifiers, they got the tournament champions trophy and the middle school excellence award. At State, they got the middle school excellence award as well as the top score in the drivers challenge. When they got the middle school excellence award, they qualified for the world robotics competition, as well as getting a banner for winning that award. The trip to world was an 8 hour drive. It seemed like days, but they finally made it there. When they got to the pit stop of where they would stay between competitions, they immediately took the robot over to go practice. The practice was successful. They did this, and went to multiple competitions each day until the final day. This was the day they would give trophies, and where they would unveil the new competition. The team ended up placing 43rd in their division, but the best thing was about to happen. They unveiled the new competition, and it was Nothing But Net. For their 2nd year, they have decided to bring on some new members. They brought on 4 new people for the new DFMS robotics team. Although they are just beginning, they already know that this is going to be a great season. At the team's first qualifier, the team won the Middle School Excellence Award. Afterwards, the team celebrated their victory by going out to dinner. The next qualifier we went to was at our own school. It was the first all middle school competition in the state. At this qualifier we got our second Excellence award. Then after 3 weeks of improving the robot we went to state. The competition was at River Bluff High School. After the second round, we changed the shooter and it didn't work so at lunch we changed it back to the old one. We ended up getting the design award and A-Team got Excellence award. THIS QUALIFIED US FOR WORLD!
